I never had the chance to develop my artistic skills but in 1999 I was in a car accident, then went to rehab, and finally, I discover my purpose in life! I love all types of art and here posted some of them. I moved to Arkansas to be close to my younger son, a corporate Pilot; I am very proud of both of them, the oldest one is Geologist who lives in Brazil. I wrote a poem for both, as you see their names as the title of those 3 poems, including the one for my grandkid. When young I used to write poems and acrostics, but then again, time went by and I got entangled with so many things I didn’t want to be in; I forgot to take care of myself, the things that brought joy to my mind and heart. The only thing that kept me going is the love of God for me. I am so grateful for He kept my soul intact at the present moment and now He has allowed me to express myself by writing poetry; only this time the inspiration is coming in English which is a challenge, for my first language is Portuguese. Looking forward to seeing the comments about each one of them, so I may improve henceforth. I invite you to embark with me on my new Poetry Journey! Thank you for your support.
